Product Description
Neo-Noir is a revival of film-noir , a genre of film/ photography that had flourished during and after world war 2 especially in the United States. The French term film - noir translates as " dark film" or "black film".Noir photography is characterized by moody, dark, and dramatic images that look straight out of a crime scene film in the 60s.
The images are emotive and have a highly specific look to them in both lighting, contrast and composition.
Abstraction by definition is a picture , painting , photo or sculpture that is made up of differing elements that come together that form a mysterious creation.
All Art is subjective and what the viewer sees in an image can depend on what the mood is..
Some of the earliest images of what may be called abstract photography have been dated from1842 by John William Draper.
Like abstract art , photographic abstraction looks to express a feeling, an idea or a mood. It has proven to be very popular among art lovers and collectors.
The beauty of abstract art is the freedom of expression that artists can delve into with many different techniques that one can employ mainly the use of lighting.
