The Seagull is mostly a creature of the coastal areas around the world but there are some that stay inland and venture to nearby lakes.
In fishermen's folklore the seagull is looked upon as a sign of good luck and harming one could lead to misfortune and ill health to the offender!
They usually travel in groups and warn each other of incoming danger. It's seldom that one seagull travels alone but it can happen.
The spirit of the Seagull is known far and wide, as an opportunist for taking advantage of food, as a free roaming creature looking for adventure, and as a survivor of wild winter storms ready to take on whatever perils lie ahead.
