Product Description
Seaside photograph taken on Galway bay. This Image was taken in the mid afternoon as moody clouds close in and the sun battles to stay out.
All along the West coast of Ireland there are plenty of seascapes and rugged coastline that's part of the Wild Atlantic Way.
With the Gulf stream being the prominent driving force as regards the weather, the coastal areas on the west of Ireland are open to the most inclement storms in western Europe .
Sometimes this has it's advantages as Ireland, generally doesn't get very much really hard frosts as in eastern Europe because the Gulf stream keeps that in check.
Nowadays with the climate change happening, the weather worldwide is tending to get warmer and hotter, and this can cause various problems like wildfires, loss of crops and the like. Again it's the gulf stream that keeps things on a fairly even keel, temperature wise and probably in the future Ireland will be less hostile weather wise than most European countries.
