Product Description
Black bird eating berries. These birds are very clever and at times elusive.I got this photo using my long lens, as they are quick to make a getaway when humans approach them. The male blackbird is black with a nice bluish sheen to his plumage while the female is brownish.
Both have distinctive calls especially when they are think that they are in some sort of danger.
Common enough in Irish gardens and countryside they are frequently seen eating from bird tables.
Blackbirds are timid and prefer their own company over the company of others. They spend much of their time on the ground, with walking, hopping forward and backward and climbing about being done regularly.
